The convention was a four-day experience where students and professionals from various ALPFA chapters across the country attended informative workshops, large networking events, and a career fair offering incredible opportunities. Natalia Camacho, Marketing student and ALPFA at UIC Secretary, wrote about the experience and the chapter's road to winning the Midwest Region Student Chapter of the Year Award. Renowned for his interactive class activities and strong emphasis on student engagement, Patel has made a notable impact since joining UIC as a professor in January 2023. Administered by the UIC Business iLEAD Professional Development Program (PDP), BA 320 gives students the opportunity to examine social issues. The course also includes a student volunteer component with a local nonprofit organization.
