Join us for today for our inaugural book club event with Jeff Wilson, UIC Liautaud’s Career Services Director.
Each Wednesday in October, we will cover a new section of the book The 2-Hour Job Search written by Steve Dalton, an MBA Career Consultant at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business.
“The 2-Hour Job Search rejects laundry lists of conventional wisdom in favor of a streamlined job search approach that produces results quickly and efficiently. In three steps, creator Steve Dalton shows you how to select, prioritize and contact prospective employers so you can land that critical first interview.”
Jeff will go through one step per week for the first three weeks and focus on practical tips and war stories from participants the final two weeks.
Copies of the books are free to the first 50 students who commit to reading and implementing this strategy.
