Two Exciting Additions to the CBA Advising Team
Jo Wagner, New CBA Academic Adviser Heading link
Jo Wagner has worked in higher education for over eight years, and most recently served as the Associate Director of Admissions at the Adler School of Professional Psychology. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the New York Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree from Drexel University in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in Student Development and Affairs. Wagner has a special interest in first-generation students, as she is one herself, as well as non-traditional students. She grew up outside of St. Louis (and is still a diehard Cardinals fan), and has lived in Chicago since 2001. In her spare time, Wagner enjoys reading and working out (she is currently learning how to swim).
Erin Fitzpatrick, New CBA Academic Adviser Heading link
Erin Fitzpatrick is one of the new academic advisers in the College of Business Administration. She has been with UIC for almost two years and now joins us as an admissions counselor for transfer and first-year students. She is very excited to transition into this adviser role. Fitzpatrick graduated from Monmouth College with an education degree and has always been very passionate about the educational field. She believes that hard work, determination and periodically meeting with an adviser will ensure students are on the path to success. Fitzpatrick will be working with management, marketing and entrepreneurship undergraduate students, so feel free to stop by UH 1117 to introduce yourself or schedule an appointment.
