So You’ve Been Accepted….Now What?

Firstly, congratulations! You have won a competitive seat in the incoming class of the #1 undergraduate business program in the Chicago-land area. Chicago is a thriving city, and your learning potential extends beyond the classroom to the thousands of businesses in America’s third-largest city.

We know that it is an important decision, and we invite you to consider it carefully. The College of Business Administration is available to you to help you decide on a wide variety of upcoming programs. These events will give you the opportunity to get face-to-face with the College of Business Administration, get a feel for the campus, and get your questions answered.

• ​Come to our Preview Night! You are invited to join faculty, staff, students, and alumni for a brief program highlighting the College of Business Administration. Envision your experience at UIC as you hear from current students and past graduates, while seated in the new Douglas Hall where business classes are held. March 27, 5-7pm

• On April 10, we are hosting a dinner for all admitted students, held at the prestigious University Club, 6-9pm. You will dine among faculty, staff, and current students and will have an opportunity to learn about UIC Business from a variety of perspectives. Admitted students have been invited via email. Please RSVP so we can secure your seat.

• UIC Saturday is April 12, 9am-2pm, and is an open house for prospective undergraduate students and their families. The event is designed to give direct access to their college and academic program. You can also tour the dorms and attend a financial aid seminar. This is a great time to get all of your questions answered!

• There is also the chance that we could come to you! We have a team of recruiters specifically for the College of Business Administration that visit Chicago-land high schools and community colleges on a regular basis. See our schedule of events to see when we will be near you.

• Consider attending UIC Business Summer College Prep! It’s a great opportunity to get a head-start on college. You’ll get acclimated to the campus, improve or reinforce your skills so you’re ready for college coursework, and meet new friends! There are many more benefits, and best of all the program is free! Dates are June 24 – 26.

• Explore other posts! There are a variety of articles featuring faculty, alumni, and students that can offer additional insight into the College of Business Administration.
