MSAA Celebrates the 2013 Chinese Lunar New Year

In February, the MSAA held its annual Spring Festival event to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year. Attendees, including UIC Liautaud MSA, MIS and MBA students, packed into the first floor of Douglas Hall to play ice-breakers and enjoy traditional Chinese cuisine from China Nigh Café.

Professors Ram Ramakrishnan, Michael Kirschenheiter, Nitish Sinha, and Yehia Salama, as well as Jeff Wilson, Director of Career Services, were in attendance to speak to students about the accounting profession. This is the second year of Spring Festival hosted at UIC by the MSAA.

Around 50 guests came to celebrate the beginning of the new year of Snake and to mingle with Liautaud faculty and students.
