Join us for an engaging and informative conversation with Angela Manning-Hardimon (UIC MBA 1999), Managing Deputy Commissioner of Administration for the City of Chicago Department of Aviation.
In this position, Mrs. Hardimon is responsible for providing management oversight of the Information Technology, Human Resources, Labor Relations, and Customer Service divisions of O'Hare and Midway International airports. During her tenure with the City of Chicago Department of Aviation, Mrs. Hardimon has also had management responsibilities for Contracts Administration, Finance, Capital Finance, Concessions, Real Estate, Marketing, and Performance Management.
Prior to joining the Chicago Department of Aviation, Mrs. Hardimon served as Deputy Commissioner of Finance and Administration for the Department of Buildings and the Department of Construction Permits. She also worked 17 years in the private sector holding positions as a Business Consultant with Parson Consulting, Senior Vice President of Yield Management with Horseshoe Gaming Corporation, Wealth Management Banker with the Northern Trust Company, and Senior Accountant with Ira Epstein Brokerage Company.
Mrs. Hardimon holds a Masters in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, a Masters of Business Administration in Strategic Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Chicago State University. She earned her Project Manager certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI) in July 2002.
