Make an Impact with UIC Liautaud Women’s Interest Network (WIN)

Hello to the wonderful women of UIC Liautaud!

UIC Liautaud Women’s Interest Network (WIN) was founded on the concept of empowering women in business through service, professional development, and networking. WIN is dedicated to supporting women MBAs in order to propel more women into leadership positions in corporate America and to enhance the diversity of the nation’s workforce.  Women’s Interest Network is affiliated with MBA Women International, an organization dedicated to the advancement of business women as corporate leaders, executives and entrepreneurs- enriching workforce diversity around the world.

Each semester, WIN hosts one primary event which is open to all UIC Liautaud students to attend. Past events have included a Wine & Cheese Networking evening and a Saturday brunch featuring a professional topic such as “How to Dress for Success” or “How to Develop a Mentoring Network”.  WIN events offer an excellent opportunity to develop your networking skills and expand your contacts.

This past spring semester, WIN hosted a Wine & Cheese networking event at Black Cloud Gallery in Chicago. This intimate space showcased an exhibit called  “Decked” which focused on unique art created on skateboards!

Liautaud Student Services would like to encourage women in the program to participate in the expansion of WIN, and to bring forth their suggestions for additional events or development ideas. As an active member of WIN, you will enrich your education experience and develop leadership skills, while making an impact at Liautaud.
