UIC Liautaud and Hoover’s have teamed up to assist Liautaud students in preparation for their job search. Hoover’s is a world class business research tool that provides information on more than 66 million companies and industries. Hoover’s allows you to extensively research target companies placing you in a better position to narrow your search and prepare for interviews.

How to Sign Up
On Monday, February 28th, we will be loading student UIC emails into the Hoover’s database system. You will receive an email directly from Hoover’s inviting you to sign up for access to the database. You should receive this email from Hoovers no later than Wednesday, March 2, 2011 and most likely before that. DO NOT DELETE THIS EMAIL! The email is directly linked to an account that has been personally set up for you. Please open the email and click on the link, create a username and password and your account will be activated at that time. YOU MUST USE YOUR UIC EMAIL for security purposes (no Gmail, Yahoo, etc…) If you have any issues or do not receive the email from Hoovers, please contact John Karras at jkarras@uic.edu.
