Thank you to MBAA President, Chiranjiv Mukerji, for contributing this post.
The Alumni from the UIC Liautaud Graduate School of Business joined the MBA Association for a community service event on November 17. The event was held at the Lincoln Park Community Shelter and attended by alums Adrienne Nadeau, Zac Bleicher, Sophia Bamiatiz, and Dave Ebel. Kristen Perhach and Chiranjiv Mukerji represented current MBAA students at the event.
The team prepared a sumptuous meal highlighted by a pumpkin chili, garlic bread, and fall themed “cupcakes – ala Sophia”. The meal was enjoyed by more than 20 residents at the community shelter.
This service event gave the entire team a chance to contribute positively to the community and the underprivileged in Chicago. Additionally, it gave a great opportunity for the alumni and the MBAA members to connect and talk about post-MBA life and challenges in the working environment. On behalf of the MBAA, we thank the alumni for volunteering their time and look forward to organizing many more interactive events with them.
