As a UIC business student, you have the opportunity to participate in the Bloomberg Professional service and terminal trial offered to students from now until February 7. If you are considering a career in the finance industry, having exposure to the Bloomberg products has proven to give job seekers a professional advantage in the job market.
WHO: All UIC Liautaud Graduate School of Business students (as well as undergraduates) are invited to participate
WHAT:
- TRY IT OUT – Trial ends February 7th (Hands on trial with general assistance from lab TA’s Suhas Nagabhushan or Karan Villaitramani, MIS Candidates)
- SEE A DEMO – John Fox, Bloomberg L.P. – Account Manager will be presenting and there for Q & A

Data: commodities, derivatives, equities, fixed income, foreign exchange.
Analytics: charting, financial modeling, presentation and mobile capabilities all in a single, secure, collaborative environment.
News & Research: of companies, industries and economies from sources around the world.
Community: access to a community of 310,000 of the world’s most influential decision makers. You can even search by tiles/roles of alumni from all the U of I campuses.
Execution: access to fragmented pools of liquidity, predictive analytics and the ability to assess strategy performance-historically and in real-time.
Services & Solutions: access to Bloomberg assessment tests used for recruiting purposes, Bloomberg Certification information, information to help make critical financial market decisions

- Hands-on Trial: Now until Feb 7 (Walk-in anytime between Mon: 9am-5pm; Tue: 10am-11am; Wed:12pm-3pm; Thu: 1pm-2pm; Fri: 9am-5pm)
- Demo: Wed: Feb 6 10am-12pm CT and Thu: Feb 7, 9am-11am
