Admissions Advice Like A Boss!

Hello everyone! My name is Diane Ginajlo and I am the Admissions and Records Officer here at UIC Liautaud. I work behind the scenes, so you may not have met me in person, but I work with many of our applicants through email and phone. I’m the person who will send you an email letting you know what documents are missing or answering your admissions questions. I thought sharing a few notes may help make the admissions process a little smoother for you.

First thing’s first: access our online application where you will complete our UIC Liautaud application, the supplemental university application, and pay the $60 application fee. Please note, when directed to the supplemental university application, please create a new account log in. Once these three parts are complete, your application can be submitted. If you have additional documents that need to be added to your application after it’s submitted, please upload them by logging back into your application or email us your documents as PDF attachments. If you are emailing us documents, please include your full name and birth date to verify your information. Please only include the required documents. We are using a paperless process, so please do not mail any hard copies to our office. Once you are admitted, you will be asked to submit Official sealed documents to the University Office of Admissions, which most students submit during their first semester.

Official GMAT, GRE, and TOEFL score reports must be received directly from ETS to process your admissions decision. Please list University of Illinois at Chicago, Liautaud Graduate School of Business, and the name of the program you are applying to, as the recipient.

Tips for International applicants! Please make sure to include all your marksheets/transcripts, as well as your degree certificate. Please note, we do not accept the examination certificate. We can accept a Provisional certificate if you graduated less than a year ago; otherwise we do require a degree certificate. If you have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, please submit a degree certificate for each. You can check to see what documents are required based on the country you studied in, by checking this site.

Attention all applicants! You can check on your status and documents by logging back into your application. Please disregard the “unofficial/official” status next to documents. You only need to submit documents that display “not received.”

If you have any other questions, please feel free to email me. I am here to help and look forward to working with you!
