AdKnowledge Information Session with INFORMS

SEPTEMBER 17, 2013 – Ben Legg, CEO and Rebecca Reese, VP of HR of AdKnowledge, held an information session in UIC Douglas Hall for interested students. Desks were filled with green bags and goodies from AdKnowledge. Ben Legg started the session to a room overfilled with participants by giving an insight into the work that is done at AdKnowledge. It was interesting to know the different strategies and methods used by them in the digital marketing world. Some case studies about their clients explained by Ben Legg were enlightening.

After that Vaidyanathan, summer intern 2013 from UIC, spoke about the work he did at AdKnowledge and his contribution to the team. It was good abstract about his stint at AdKnowledge which helped prospective students looking to work with AdKnowledge.

Rebecca Reese continued the session by giving important professional tips about resume and interviewing sessions. She shared some dos and don’ts for an interview. She also stressed upon the importance of having a professional voice mail message and an up-to-date LinkedIn profile.

At the end of session, Simranjit Gill, President of INFORMS, thanked Ben and Rebecca with gift bags for the awesome session. After the event, students participated in an interaction session with Ben and Rebecca, who answered their questions and cleared their doubts. The event then ended with refreshments.

Overall, it was a great informative event held by INFORMS which will be of significant help to all the participants.

The UIC Chapter of INFORMS looks forward to hosting more of such information sessions this year!
