About career services …A message from John Karras

Hello,

My name is John Karras and I am the Director of Career Services for UIC Liautaud.  The Career Services Department offers several valuable services and tools to assist all UIC Liautaud students meet their career goals. These services and tools include CareerLeader, an on-line career assessment tool, uiccareers.com, our on-line job lead system, access to Hoovers, a world class company and industry research tool, and the UIC Liautaud Resume Book, our on-line database of student resumes that are available for company review.  Individual appointments can be scheduled with Career Services. These appointments consist of, but are not limited to establishing career direction, resume and cover letter development, interviewing strategies and compensation negotiation techniques. Career related workshops and seminars are conducted each semester as well as company information and recruiting sessions. I look forward to assisting you reach your career goal.
