We started the Fall 2017 semester with a busy and productive month. Let’s take a look back at some highlights with our September social media recap.

It’s hard to say goodbye to a carefree summer schedule when classes start.  This year’s Student Org Networking Night boat cruise made the transition a little easier. Leaders from UIC Business student organizations enjoyed panoramic views of the skyline while discussing collaboration for the year’s events.  Make sure you’re staying up to date with their excellent upcoming programming!

Classes are in full swing, and Douglas Hall has been buzzing with students, faculty, and representatives from Chicago corporations. The UIC Business Career Center hosted leading companies including Groupon, PWC, Target, and Northern Trust. There’s more scheduled throughout the semester, so stop by their tables at the front of DH to introduce yourself and talk about upcoming opportunities.

UIC Business students were looking extra sharp on September 14 for the Business Career Fair. From across campus, students and had the opportunity to talk with high-profile firms. Remember that it’s never too early to start thinking about your next internship. Check out the Business Career Center website for more information on job opportunities.

The numbers are in, and UIC enrolled a record number of students this fall! With a gain in enrollment of 8 percent from last year, UIC Business is a major player in this trend. UIC Business is proud to be part of one of the most diverse campuses in the country and is committed to providing high-quality, high-value education to our students.
